True to description and great coverage, August 31, 2011 This review is from: Baby Jogger Single Carry Bag (Baby Product) I have the City Mini and have taken my child all over the world with it. It is by far my favorite stroller on earth and I needed a bag that would help protect it when being handled in the airport.
PROS:
- The bag is a thick coated canvas and has not torn or shredded in all of my trips.
- Shoulder strap can be removed if you don't want to use it
- Inside of the bag has clearly labeled pockets for the wheels you must take off in order to stow. The pockets zip around each wheel so they don't move. Very easy to do.
- Black which is nondescript and doesn't obviously look like it's carrying a nice stroller
- Once everything is zipped up the stroller is securely snug inside, no wiggling or moving around in there
CONS:
- If you're okay with taking the wheels off to store the stroller then disregard, HOWEVER, taking the wheels off can be a hassle with a little one at the gate.

The bag is not thick enough for me to feel comfortable putting the stroller in the regular checked luggage, but for the gate-side check it worked well. The only issue is that you have to take off all 3 wheels to get the bag to close, which can take a little time to do. Luckily my husband made a game of timing how long it took him to pack the stroller as we boarded each flight (his record was 55 seconds, so it wasn't that long).

We bought and used this for a trip with our City Mini stroller. The carrying bag worked great and made me feel like my stroller was more protected. Unfortunately, the baggage guys thought it looked like luggage and sent it to the baggage claim. Kind of defeats the purpose of gate check. Stroller was not damaged and this did not happen on the return trip. I really wish the bag rolled into itself. It was difficult to carry the large bag through the airport to the gate. We forced it to roll up smaller and used the straps to corral it so we could clip it onto the stroller. I guess it wouldn't be very protective if it was flimsy enough to roll up. Don't think I'll use it much except for traveling, but I liked it for that.
